It’s been a long while since I did a Fri-Yay!
Last week, instead, I posted an update on how the shop was doing since almost everyone who comes through the door asks…
The response was overwhelming and even though the huge influx of pity shoppers has died down, I do still get people who come in and tell me they read my post and want to support me, which is awesome. I can tell the residents of Natick really want me here and love my store. They tell me every time they come in! It’s nice to be part of such a tight-knit and supportive community clamoring for more local businesses, even though they are within spitting distance of a huge and rather impressive mall. All reasons why I wanted to start my business here to begin with.
Anywho. Besides all that, I have been preparing (agonizing) and am really excited for (freaking out about) my first holiday season here in town and talk about trial by fire: Christmas and Hanukkah fall on the same day. Christmas is Sunday the 25th and so is the first night of Hanukkah. Damn. Last time this happened I was working retail at a gift store so I’m somewhat prepared? But it wasn’t my show then so, we’ll see won’t we?
Enough chatter. As Casey Kasem would say, “And now, on with the countdown!”
Have you seen my new election cards?? I think they’re a HOOT.
I’m obsessed with the patterns on these clutches. They’re all sold out right now but I’m keeping her store up in my browser for when she restocks…
Your baby looks like a nutsack.
My birthday is coming up.
Things no one tells you about being human.
I’d love to make one of these but I have nowhere to put it. *sob
Ok that’s all I haz for now. Have a lovely weekend!
